Before You Submit

Integrity Publishing is a Christian publishing company committed to producing books that are faithful to Scripture. Before submitting your manuscript for review, please read our Statement of Faith and Our Stance on Difficult Issues to ensure your project aligns with our publishing standards.

By submitting your manuscript, you acknowledge that you have reviewed these guidelines and believe your manuscript aligns with them.

If you have a completed manuscript and are ready for a professional evaluation, please read the How the Initial Manuscript Review Works section below and review the submission guidelines before uploading your work. These requirements help us evaluate your manuscript efficiently and provide the best recommendations for moving forward.

How the Initial Manuscript Review Works

  1. Submit your completed manuscript using the form below.
  2. We’ll complete a preliminary review to determine whether your manuscript aligns with Integrity Publishing’s mission and is ready for an Initial Manuscript Review.
  3. If your manuscript is accepted for review, we’ll email you a secure payment link for the $75 Initial Manuscript Review fee.
  4. Once payment is received, we’ll complete your Initial Manuscript Review and return it to you with:
    • A professional edit of the first five manuscript pages (up to 1,250 words)
    • Strengths we see in your writing
    • Areas that would benefit from improvement
    • An estimate for editing services, if applicable

Most reviews are returned within 5–7 business days after payment is received. During seasons of higher demand, reviews may take a little longer. If that happens, we’ll keep you informed of your expected completion date.

This review is intended for authors with a completed manuscript who are ready for professional feedback before editing or publication.

Our Commitment to You
If, during our preliminary review, we determine that your manuscript is not a good fit for Integrity Publishing or would benefit from additional writing or development before an Initial Manuscript Review, you will not be charged the $75 review fee.

We’ll explain our decision before requesting payment because we believe in treating every author with honesty and integrity.

Initial Manuscript Review Guidelines

The following guidelines will help you with the submission process.

    • Submit your manuscript as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx)
    • Save your file: LAST NAME, First Name – Your Title.doc
    • Format: one inch margins, Times New Roman size 12 font, double spaced.
    • No images should be embedded in the manuscript.  
    • Check all Scripture quotations carefully for accuracy. Place reference and version used beside each quotation in parenthesis (e.g. Psalms 119:1, NLT).
    • Check all non-Scripture quotes for accuracy and include source information for proper attribution and citation. Place source in parenthesis.
    • Submissions should be reflective of your best work. Check spelling, grammar, and story flow for clarity and conciseness. All manuscripts published by Integrity Publishing will be professionally edited and formatted. Cost fluctuates depending on the level of editing required.
